Established in 1864 in historic Niagara-on-the-Lake, The Prince of Wales Hotel maintains a proud tradition of offering the ultimate in personal service and attention. 2017-01-20What a beautiful weekend get a way! We decided to visit Niagara -on-the-lake just before Christmas. Knowing that it would have plenty to offer and a change from summer time for sure. We were not disappointed. We chose the Prince of Wales with it's perfect location for walking downtown. Our room was a king sweet and it was so comfortable we found it hard to leave. The furnishings were comfortable and the fireplace just held you there. Heated bath towels, robes, deep tub, wonderful king size bed....what else can be said. It was just great.....and CLEAN. Staff were friendly and could not help more. We really enjoyed an evening cocktail in the lounge. This is a truly wonderful place to stay. Another visit is sure to happen.
